In most states, the government is concerned about the interest of their workforce that they provide labor laws to keep them protected. In California, the entire workforce population is protected by various labor laws that guard their rights as well as their interests. With the help of these types of leaves, employees can take a break when they need it the most such as when they don’t feel physically and mentally stable.
Every employee is also protected from possible discrimination and bullying in their workplace as there are also laws that protect them from such issues. The ADA or the Americans with Disabilities Act provides for fair treatment and discourages all types of bullying and discrimination in the workplace where most employees are prone to be victims of. California may fall short on anti-bullying laws but the employees are well protected from such types of treatment in the workplace. Given that these laws are provided, the state can ensure that all employees no longer have to deal with discrimination in the workplace.
There are also certain laws that protect the employees health by entitling them to insurance plans and regulating their contracts. The health coverage includes medical, dental and many other types of insurance coverages of the same nature to keep them in tiptop shape.
